Utility Works Union of AmericaMidland Cogeneration Venture Limited Partnership employs over 120 full-time employees and many other full-time contractors and vendors. About half of the MCV workforce is unionized, which is proudly represented by the Utility Workers Union of America, Local 564.

Our Customers

We supply reliable, cost-competitive energy to our customers that include electricity for the Midcontinent Independent Electrical System Operator (MISO), Consumers Energy, and The Dow Chemical Company, and process steam for The Dow Chemical Company and Dow Corning Corporation facilities in Midland, Michigan.

MCV is proud to have called the Midland area community home for over 30 years. Many MCV employees live, work, and raise their families in the community where we do business.
